THROUGHTOUT BREATHING at Galeria Adora Calvo. 2011

'Throughout Breathing'' Exhibition by Anaisa Franco at Galeria Adora Calvo.

It is a sculpture that breathes along with the viewer. The machine accompanies, amplifies, and expands the act of breathing through an interface and space.
The user breathes into a custom microphone and the sculpture begins to breathe in conjunction with the user, increasing and distorting the sound of the breath.
The project seeks to expand the action of breathing through the use of dreamlike elements that altogether make up a kind of mysterious performance orchestra. Creating a rhythmic relationship between the user and the machine, where the public can feel the expansion of the breath within a space full of sound, movements, and perceptions of the senses.
Also, part of the exhibition is a series of illuminated drawings and breathing lungs, both showing the unconscious universe of sculpture where a relationship is created between the organic and the synthetic, and between the machine and the human.

''Technology developed by Andre Perrotta in L'Estruch (Barcelona) and financed by MINC Ministry of Culture of Brazil''.

Anaisa Franco (2011 BEEP Electronic Art Award) has exhibited her work in America, Europe and Asia.
She creates robotic sculptures that interconnect the physical with the digital, redefining psychology concepts and providing behaviors, imaginations, and feelings for the sculptures.
