RESHAPING IDS, CONNECTING REALITIES is a SOLO Museum show that transforms the biometric data of the spectators through 5 interactive artworks that create playful games redefining facial, iris and fingerprint recognition, connecting them with other realities through a unique interactive experience.
The exhibition is composed by SELFLEXION, located at its entrance, captures and scans the face of the first 500 visitors and creates a Biometric playful control game. The next artwork is “Spatial Iriscope” which scans the visitors iris using an iriscopio and transforms them into galaxies and nebulas. The intention is to visualize how similar our microuniverse of the iris are with the universe of galaxies. Next is “Expanded ID” where the spectator get their fingerprint scanned and transformed into a colorful moving topography. The exhibitions is also composed by “Mutations”, which are objects printed with filament sensitive to UV light, where the user can activate the properties of the material by lighting it. To conclude the exhibition, we have “Entanglements”, an artwork in the form of an illuminated vortex that represents the pulsating DNA of life.
